Event Overview
EDUTREX 2020 - Education and Training Exhibition was a Virtual Expo and Summit, that took place from 13-14 October 2020.
EDUTREX was held in collaboration with relevant authorities, associations and media partners. It is strategically timed to maximize the enrollment of students and reach out to the aspiring students. This event will provide the Exhibitors an indispensable platform to connect with over 1000 prospective students and affluent visitors spanning over 25 nationalities specially from the Sultanate of Oman and additionally the regions of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and UAE.
The 2-day exhibition was an interactive platform for exhibitors to promote their institutions and recruit students for various programs in this emerging market. The event brought more than 50 local and international prominent accredited universities, colleges and institutes from over 15 countries offering extensive courses. It was an opportunity to directly network with potential students (Grades 10-12), Parents, Career & School Counsellors, Teachers, Principals and Heads of Institutions, Post-Graduate Applicants, HR Managers from top Companies, Government Officials, Professionals and many more, making it a significant convergence point.

As a 15-year veteran member of the U.S. Foreign Service, Mario Crifo has worked to promote access for international students to the U.S. higher education system. In overseas positions in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Jordan, Iraq, and Yemen, he has implemented programs that build the leadership and pre-academic skills students need to be successful in American universities. In Washington, he partnered with the State Department’s Bureau for Educational and Cultural Affairs to expand scholarship and other study opportunities for students from the MENA region. He is a graduate of Wesleyan University in Connecticut and the Thunderbird School of Global Management M.B.A. program at the Arizona State University.

Jerry Czub has been in the international higher education field since 2003 and has enjoyed experience at several different universities and companies, spanning across both the US and Australia. International admissions and recruitment have been his focus, starting his career with the Australian National University (ANU) as an admissions office and later moving into international recruitment with ANU. In 2010 he moved back to the US and started work with Navitas UMass campuses, then Johnson & Wales University, and now Clark University. Since 2017, he has been in his current role as the Senior Director, Graduate Enrollment Management at Clark University, where the graduate programs have experienced substantial international enrollment growth since he joined. Jerry spent 13 years in Australia, where he completed his Master’s in Business from the University of Newcastle. Omid Honari read his undergraduate degree from Western Sydney University before pursuing graduate research, as well as a Master of Creative Industries from Navitas’ SAE Institute; and worked in the media industry for a number of years in his native Australia as a producer and writer.
